Importing Clean Tech From China

Since Obama doesn’t seem to want to give much of that money he is printing to US green tech companies, we may as well import our green technology from China.  They developed their lead in green technology from the money they make off of us so why no take advantage.

China spends .6 Billion and the US spends .6 Billion on Clean Tech

Giving the trillions that Obama has printed and given to the wall street thieves who all but destroyed the entire financial world, it is difficult to see why he can print and buy energy independence and jobs by putting in enough solar cells and infrastructure to power the US entirely off of solar energy.

Sell Old Mobile Phones For Recycling And Save The Environment From Pollution

Recycling mobile phones is necessary because they have toxic elements in the circuit board that pollute the soil, underground water and play a wide role in increasing the globally warming. Throwing the mobile phone in the land may cause many harm to the nature and also they will increase the need for the basic raw materials needed to manufacture new mobile phones. Several surveys have revealed that in developed countries only 3% of the people contribute in recycling the mobile phones. Instead of keeping your mobile phones may be the LG, Nokia, Samsung or any other company phones in your drawer or cupboard give them to the mobile phone retailers or to the manufactures for recycling. recycle LG Optimus 2X mobile if they are in very bad condition, unused, old or broken. Recycle LG Optimus 2X mobile phones to reuse the useful parts in them.

When you give your LG Optimus 2X mobile phone for recycling the recycling company will take away the useful parts and then recycle the other pats to use them as a raw material to manufacture new mobile phones. Recycle LG Optimus 2X mobile phones and get paid for it from the retailers. Recycling of mobile phones helps to reduce the toxic waste being dumped in the land. Most of them keep their old mobile phones in the drawer and cupboard. This will increase the need for the basic raw materials needed to manufacture new mobile phones. The most important need for recycling is that it will reduce globalization by reducing the emission of green house gas in the atmosphere. Sell old mobile phones to the mobile retailers or the particular mobile manufactures and contribute to reduce globalization.

Instead of keeping the mobile phones unused you can give them for recycling to meet the demand for basic raw materials needed to manufacture new mobile phones. Sell old mobile phones and get paid for it based on the condition it is. All the precious and valuable metals in the circuit board of your old mobile phone will live in the new mobile phones after they are recycled. If you throw your mobile phones in the land they will leak the toxic materials on the land and pollute the soil and underground water. This in turn find their way back to us and they cause many disease to us. Sell your old mobile phones for recycling and help the environment and get some cash from them which you no longer need. Recycling always makes sense, so do your best part in protecting the environment from the toxic waste and protect yourself from harmful diseases like cancer caused due to the pollution of water, air and soil.

General Malware Removal Guide From USB Drive

USB Drive (aka Pendrive) is the most common storage device. However most of the people always had their USB Drive infected with all sorts of virus, malware, trojan, spyware or whatever you call it. For a normal user, they might not know if their USB Drive is infected or not. Want to know how to check and remove all the malware from your storage device? Read the guide below.

1. Whenever we plug in our USB Drive, Windows XP will prompt us with a window as shown above. Most of the time, most of the people will scroll down and click “Open folder to view files”. If the USB Drive is infected with malware, clicking “Open folder to view files” will execute the malware in the USB Drive and it will spread and infect the Windows in the background. So, first thing when we see this window, we must click Cancel .

2. To open your USB Drive, Click on My Computer. Do not double click on the USB Drive because it works the same with “Open folder to view files” in first step, it will execute the malware if the USB Drive is infected. In order to access the USB Drive, refer to the screenshot above. Click on the drop box at the address bar, then select the USB Drive, in my case it is KINGSTON (I:).

3. My USB Drive is clean and free of malware, therefore I can’t show you screenshot of my USB Drive, instead I asked my friend to send me a screenshot of his USB Drive as example to eleminate the malware. Refer to the picture above, that is what you see normally after you access your USB Drive. However there could be some malware hiding in your USB Drive which you don’t know.

4. Next, Click Tools then click Folder Options . Click on the View Tab. Under Advance Settings scroll down and click Show hidden files and folder – ON , untick Hide protected operating system files (Recommended) – ON then it will prompt something and click YES . Refer to the screenshot above if you don’t know what I mean. After that click Apply. Follow the Steps Below if you having problem with Step 4. Else you can skip it and go to Step 5. If Folder Options is disabled but Registry Editor is still working in your system, then you can enable Folder Options by editing Windows Registry. Click Start then click RUN. Type regedit in RUN dialog box and press Enter. it’ll open Registry Editor, now go to following keys:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Current Version\Policies\Explorer HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Current Version\Policies\Explorer

In right-side pane, check whether a DWORD value named NoFolderOptions exists or not? If it exists, delete it. But sometimes Registry Editor is also disabled. Click Start then click RUN. Type following in RUN dialog box and press :

REG add HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System /v DisableRegistryTools /t REG_DWORD /d 0 /f

Now after enabling Registry Editor, you can re-enable Folder Options . There have been cases of viruses like Kavo changing back the hidden files back to hidden after you enable it. To fix this, Go to

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced\Folder\Hidden\SHOWALL

find for CheckedValue, it should be a DWORD key. If it is not then delete it.

5. After finishing Step 4, if your USB Drive is infected with malware, you should be able to see some weird file like shown in the first sceenshot above such as Autorun.inf. Right click at Autorun.inf then click open with Notepad . You should be able to see what is in the second screenshot. It targets the malware whi.com and now you can close the Autorun.inf. Next you can delete all the files associated with the Autorun.inf and suspected malware files . Then Empty your recycle bin. If your Windows has been infected with malware already, the malware will be automatically infect your USB Drive when you plug in your USB Drive. So following the steps above will be useless. It is only useful for you to prevent your Windows from malware.

How to Protect a Computer System from Malware

Malware, to begin with, is malicious software whose purpose is to destroy ones system (hardware and / or software), make it hard for you to use your computer (virus), gather information and to send and elsewhere (spyware), or to bombard the use with advertisement (adware). This also includes trojans which is program coding which like the fabled Trojan Horse which conceal malware. Now that we have an understanding what malware is, it is time to show how to protect yourself from it contaminating your computer.

Protecting your computer system from infestation of malware first begins by understanding how a computer is infested to begin with. There are two ways that a computer is infested. Either by an already infest removable media mounted on your computer. The other way is through the Internet. Of the two means of infestation the Internet is the source of the vast majority of malware. With that in mind we will address protecting a computer system from malware infestation from the Internet. Note that there are three methods in which your computer get infested while connected to the Internet:

A) email; B) World Wide Web (www) C) downloading files malware from the Internet from file sharing sites. Our focus shall be preventing infestation through those three ports of attack.

The first line of defense that should be in place is a firewall. A firewall is like a wall between you and the Internet. Nothing can pass through the firewall in either direction unless the firewall has been given permission to do so. With many firewall packages, the firewall can be setup automatically, questioning the operator every time there is a new event. Or it can be setup manually. Selecting beforehand what programs will make it through the firewall and which will not.

The second line of defense against malware infestation on your computer system is to install anti-malware software packages, more commonly called ant-virus software. Today’s anti-virus program not only scan and remove malicious software that it finds, but also spyware and adware. Some ant-virus packages can even detect vulnerabilities in the operating systems. A good anti-virus package will catch what malware that introduced to a computer through shared infested software that comes on removable media or has been download from peer-to-peer file sharing sites.

The most important defense against malware is safe operating procedures. Listed below are some good practices to employ:

disable the Internet connection when not actually working online.

keep away from general file sharing sites that do not scan files for malware

never click on hyperlinks, instead cut and paste the URL into the address location box

scan computer system regularly, the more you are on the Internet the more often you should run a scan.

Refrain from visiting unknown sites unless it has been vouched for by a reputable source

Refrain from open e-mail that look suspicious

By employing those safety practices, the chances of malware infestation decreases tremendously.

How to Remove the Virus Sweeper Malware From Your Computer (Trojan/Spyware Removal Instructions)

Have a pop-up of a “Virus Sweeper Malware” program showing up on your computer? Your computer is infected! Here is how to remove this fake virus program from your computer–and perhaps some others that you may not have known about!

Step 1

Before you dive in, be sure to print this how-to on your printer or have it available while removing the Virus Sweeper Malware program. This way, you have it to look off of if you need some extra guidance.

Step 2

The most important thing to have in order to remove the Virus Sweeper Malware software is MalwareByte’s Anti-Malware software. This can be obtained for free through the resources section link below. It is free, no cost, and may remove the Virus Sweeper Malware software as well as other viruses, trojans and spyware you may not have been aware of!

Step 3

Download the file onto your desktop, and then click the MalwareBytes icon to load up and install the software.

Step 4

When the install is complete, you should have two checkbox options–update and launch. You’ll want to make sure both are checked before continuing on.

Step 5

Once the update is complete, you will be led to the main screen. On the Scanner tab, click “Perform Quick Scan.” If you have a little more time on your hands, go ahead and do the full scan, but the quick scan should pick up the Virus Sweeper Malware Program files on its own.

Step 6

When the program is done scanning your computer for viruses, a message box will come up saying that the scan is complete. Click OK to continue.

Step 7

On the next screen, click “Show Results.” What you see may surprise you!

Step 8

Make sure all the results are checked in the check mark. Once they have all been checked, click “Remove Selected.”

Step 9

Doing so will allow the program to delete the files associated with the Virus Sweeper Malware program as well as any other malware, trojans, viruses, or spyware the program may have found while scanning. In doing so, the program may ask to restart the computer in order to continue. Go ahead and let it restart, and if you want extra protection, it might not be a bad idea to do one more “Quick Scan,” just in case. Never hurts to be extra thorough.

Step 10

You can now close the program, and you should be free of the Virus Sweeper Malware Program. No matter what you call it, whether you call it a trojan, virus, malware, spyware, whatever, you definitely don’t want it on your computer!

Words of Advice

* If you are an avid internet browser, be sure to run this program on a regular basis, preferably doing a full scan on a weekly basis. Quick scans can be done at any time you notice unusual computer activity.
